CONGJING Group successfully held a symposium for experts on radiofrequency moxibustion therapy

On the afternoon of November 6, 2022,CONGJING Group successfully held the "Expert Symposium on Radiofrequency Moxibustion Therapy" in the conference room on the first floor of its subsidiary, Jiuli Technology Building. The head of the expert group was Professor Xu Bin, Associate Director of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Medicine Combination at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. The members of the expert group included Director Zhang Jianbin, Deputy Director of the Second Hospital of Jiangsu Province, Chief TCM Physician; Director Liu Lanying, Chief TCM Physician of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation Department at Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Director Chen Zhaoming, Chief TCM Physician of Acupuncture Department at Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Assistant Researcher Jing Xinyue from the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory for Acupuncture and Moxibustion and Medicine Combination at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine; and Dr. Xu Tiancheng, also from the same laboratory.

The symposium was chaired by Dr. Jing Zhiqiang, Chairman of CONGJING Group and Director of the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine at China Pharmaceutical University. Attendees included Dr. Ma Yuxi, President of CONGJING Group; Wang Chao, Vice President of CONGJING Group; Tang Huaiyuan, and other senior management of the group.

During the symposium, Dr. Jing Zhiqiang provided a detailed report to the expert group on five aspects including corporate culture, product technology, theory of radiofrequency moxibustion therapy, expected research goals, and other societal concerns such as the national emphasis on the development of traditional Chinese medicine since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He highlighted the importance of inheriting and innovating the development of traditional Chinese medicine as a significant component of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and a crucial aspect of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Dr. Jing also discussed societal issues such as population aging, changes in disease spectrum, and the inadequacy of single medical specialties to meet the public's health needs.

Professor Xu Bin, as the head of the expert group, elaborated in detail from the perspective of the similarities and differences between the theory of radiofrequency moxibustion therapy and traditional Chinese moxibustion therapy. He discussed the advantages of radiofrequency moxibustion therapy and outlined the research that needs to be conducted in the future. The attending experts engaged in discussions from various angles including basic research, clinical studies, and the integration of radiofrequency moxibustion therapy with transdermal drug delivery. They unanimously agreed that radiofrequency moxibustion therapy represents an integration of innovation and inheritance based on traditional Chinese moxibustion theory and engineering, thus opening a new technological pathway for traditional moxibustion studies.

The expert group provided valuable opinions on the establishment of the "Radiofrequency Moxibustion Clinical Research Center" by CONGJING Group, covering aspects such as disciplinary characteristics, therapeutic advantages, industry standards, and industrial policies. These insights further delineate the strategic direction for Jing Group's traditional Chinese medicine initiatives. CONGJING Group will continue to adhere to its spirit of integrating innovation, closely aligning with clinical and public healthcare needs. Across dimensions of research translation and industrial upgrading, deepening collaboration between academia, industry, and research, it aims to support the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine and contribute to the "Healthy China,Healthy The World" initiative.
